The new India Basin Shoreline Park transforms the Bayview Hunters Point waterfront and the historic 900 Innes property into a unified, 10-acre public space that celebrates natural beauty, community access, and cultural heritage. To support this transformation, a thoughtfully designed signage program was implemented, including wayfinding, interpretive, and regulatory signs that ensure clarity and cohesion throughout the park. Each element was crafted to reflect the area’s unique character while honoring its deep historical roots.

Priority Architectural Graphics partnered with Swinerton Builders and the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department to deliver signage that enhances the visitor experience and reinforces the park’s narrative. Drawing on our expertise in public space signage, we created durable, accessible, and visually integrated solutions that help park-goers navigate the space while learning about the rich history and ecology of the site. Our contribution supports the park’s mission to be both a welcoming destination and a living tribute to the neighborhood’s past and future.
