Located at the intersection of Haight Street and Octavia Boulevard in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood, 78 Haight Street is a ground-up, mixed-use affordable housing development delivered in collaboration with Guzman Construction and Paulett Taggart Architects. The seven-story project provides 63 permanently affordable homes, including housing for transitional-age youth and low-income residents, along with integrated community-focused amenities such as childcare, shared spaces, and a rooftop garden.
Priority Architectural Graphics contributed a signage program designed to support clarity, accessibility, and durability within a highly utilized residential environment. The signage is intentionally clear, visible, and seamlessly integrated into the building’s contemporary architecture, helping residents and visitors navigate the space with confidence.
In a project centered on community and long-term livability, the signage system plays a critical role—enhancing daily experience while aligning with the project’s broader mission to provide thoughtful, well-designed affordable housing in the heart of San Francisco.
