Talking Books & Braille Center: San Francisco Public Library
The Talking Books and Braille Center project was a signage “refresh” for San Francisco Public Library at 100 Larkin Street in San Francisco. This project was one of many public library projects Priority Architectural Graphics has been honored to work on.
The Talking Books and Braille Center (TBBC), formerly known as the Library for the Blind and Print Disabled, provides a collection of more than 100,000 digital “talking book” titles for all ages as well as the special player needed to listen to them. The TBBC is part of the national network run by the Library of Congress the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS).
Suspended signs were installed throughout the space. Unique wall bracket signage with green glass acrylic was also utilized on this project.
